What does it feel like to be in the studio with Dance Lab NY as they explore the question, “Who gets to dance en pointe?” How does a tradition such as ballet celebrate its heritage while pushing toward innovation? Join Dance Lab NY founding artistic director Josh Prince, choreographer Durante Verzola, and dancers from Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo and Ballet22 as they discuss process, share techniques explored, and perform pieces in progress.
Following Dance Lab New York's 5 p.m. showing, we will gather for a reception and The Gallery Store Holiday preview at Strohl Art Center. A four-course dinner will then be served at 7 p.m. (menu below)
